INGREDIENTS

PREP: 20-30MINUTES | COOKING TIME: 5-10 MINUTES

  • 3 fl oz Stir Fry Sauce
  • 1 fl oz water 
  • 5 oz pork belly 
  • 1 fl oz cooking oil (your choice of oil) 
  • 1 tsp minced garlic 
  • Minced Thai chili or chili paste to your taste
  • 2 oz chopped carrots
  • 2 oz chopped mushrooms
  • 2 oz chopped yellow onion 
  • 2 oz chopped bell peppers
  • 1 oz Thai basil

COOKING

COOKING TIME: 5-10 MINUTES

  1. Cut the pork belly into approximately 1 inch slices (bite-sized). Deep fry in hot oil until the pork belly turns golden brown, then quickly remove from the oil. Once the pork belly has been deep-fried, you can move onto preparation for the rest of the meal. 
  2. Heat the pan over medium heat, pour the cooking oil into the pan and be sure to let it heat up before proceeding onto the next steps. 
  3. Add the garlic and spices and stir fry this mixture until it produces a fragrant aroma. Do not walk away from your pan at this point, as the garlic can burn very quickly! 
  4. Add the pork belly and veggies and stir fry two to three times. 
  5. Add the Stir Fry Sauce and water and mix all ingredients together for one minute.
  6. Continue to stir-fry your ingredients together another two to three times as the sauce continues to absorb. 
  7. Turn off your heat source and plate your meal with your choice of rice.
