COOKING
COOKING TIME: 5-10 MINUTES
- Cut the pork belly into approximately 1 inch slices (bite-sized). Deep fry in hot oil until the pork belly turns golden brown, then quickly remove from the oil. Once the pork belly has been deep-fried, you can move onto the udon noodle preparation.
- Bring a pot of water to a boil, fully submerge the udon noodles in the boiling water, and turn off your heat source. Leave the udon noodles in the pot until you are ready to use them.
- Heat the pan over medium heat, pour the cooking oil into the pan and be sure to let it heat up before proceeding onto the next steps.
- Add the garlic and spices and stir fry this mixture until it produces a fragrant aroma. Do not walk away from your pan at this point, as the garlic can burn very quickly!
- Add the veggies and stir fry four to five times.
- Add the udon noodles directly from the pot of water into the pan. Do not drain the noodles, as the excess water from the noodles helps the ingredients to come together.
- Stir fry all ingredients together, mixing continuously for one minute.
- Add the Stir Fry Sauce, black soy sauce and and mix all ingredients together for two minutes while the sauce absorbs into the noodles.
- Turn off your heat source and plate your meal.
- Enjoy your Forking meal!
