Thai Fried Rice

Ingredients

PREP: 10-15 MINUTES | COOKING TIME: 5-10 MINUTES

  • 3 fl oz Stir Fry Sauce
  • 12 oz cooked jasmine rice 
  • 1 fl oz cooking oil (your choice of oil) 
  • 1 large egg
  • 5 oz protein (your choice) 
  • 1 tsp minced garlic 
  • Minced Thai chili or chili paste to your taste
  • 1/2 oz finely chopped yellow onion
  • 1/2 oz finely chopped carrot
  • 1/2 oz finely chopped bell pepper
  • 1/2 oz finely chopped green onion

Cooking

COOKING TIME: 5-10 MINUTES

  1. Heat the pan over medium heat, pour the cooking oil into the pan and be sure to let it heat up before proceeding onto the next steps.
  2. Add the garlic and spice and stir fry this mixture until it produces a fragrant aroma. Do not walk away from your pan at this point, as the garlic can burn very quickly! 
  3. Add your protein and cook it to the appropriate temperature. 
  4. Crack the egg into the pan and scramble the egg until it is fully cooked. 
  5. Add the rice and mix all ingredients two to three times. 
  6. Add the Stir Fry Sauce.
  7. Add all the veggies to the wok.
  8. Stir fry all ingredients together, mixing continuously for one minute as the sauce absorbs.
  9. Turn off your heat source and plate your meal. 
  10. Garnish with chopped green onion and enjoy your Forking meal!
